Miss Mousie
In all PICWOOL, it was very rare to cross Miss Mousie without a baby in the arms or carried on the back. Miss Mousie was a nanny and loved her job.
Yes some of these little ones were more turbulent than others but for nothing in the world she would have changed her profession.
George, the little one she carried that day on her back was one of her favorites.
George was calm and serious, he kept his big eyes open during the walks that they made together and Miss Mousie knew that it was only when arriving near the river that George would begin to close his eyes. The sound of the water soothed him and he fell asleep for long minutes.
Miss Mousie placed him on a small bed of moss well wrapped in a tight diaper and she then had some time to rest her poor back and settle under the large willow which would shelter her from the last rays of summer.
Mr Robin was an outstanding tailor.
Mr Robin was an outstanding tailor. Because of his address and his ability to instantly guess your measurements at the same time you crossed the threshold of his shop but also for the very large selection of fabrics he was able to offer in his shop.
His reputation was well established. Also, his clients came from far and far!
We crowded in his shop on Wednesday and Saturday, blessed days where Mr Robin received his customers for the measurement of custom clothing.
And since we are never better served than by ourselves, Mr Robin made a point of making clothes with the most precious fabrics and the most brilliant colors to make his customers want.
And my faith, it worked very well!

The last strawberries for Mama Mouse
It was the last strawberries of this beautiful summer and Mama Mouse had had a hard time finding enough for her delicious pie.
She had searched and searched again and under some beautiful strawberry leaves she had found enough.
This pie was not just a summer pie, it was the first one that his little mouse could taste.
He was born last spring, in June, just a few days before summer, and these strawberries were going to be his first now that he had enough small teeth to be able to bite them.

The Sunday afternoons of Mr Mole
And sometimes Mr Mole took all his afternoon to settle in the wonderful bookshop of his neighborhood.
This bookstore had its favors because it was also a tea room and they served there his favorite cakes. So once a week, often on Sunday afternoons, he dressed comfortably and quite warmly and went there. The welcome was always warm, his habits were known, and now he only had to choose a good book, to settle in one of their chair so soft and a few minutes later, the adorable owner brought him his favorite cake and a good teapot of burning tea.
The afternoon could then start in the best way!
Good afternoon Mr Mole!

Mr & Mrs Piggy are in town !
"Don’t you think it’s too much with that hat, sweetie?"
" But no, you are very beautiful and one would think that this hat was made for your head."
"Well, if you say so," replied Mr Piggy, unconvinced.
He was well only in his overalls too big and stained, which he rarely left. But in this fall, they were out in town, and it was necessary to honor his sweet Mrs Piggy, by dressing properly.
And Mrs Piggy was very proud on the arm of her Mr Piggy.

Mr Badger was an artist !
Mr. Badger was an artist!
He liked to sculpt, draw and paint. Especially paint.
And he had taken the habit of adding small touches of paint to his entire interior. It added joy to this world, he said.
Also, when he picked up an acorn hat during one of his daily walks, it was very naturally that he added some touches of color.
And my faith, it suited him very well!
And not to spoil anything, Mr Badger always liked to welcome his visitors with a plate of delicious varied cookies !

Mr Hedgehogie and his mushrooms
Mr Hedgehogie was happy, the first mushrooms were finally there after the rains of the last days and he couldn't be more thrilled.
"First mushrooms are first omelettes with mushrooms", he repeated, and omelettes with mushrooms was his favorite dish. But he had a doubt.
On his way home, he had met Mrs Badgie who had warned him about this pretty red mushroom with white spots. It was so pretty, should we really give up eating it?
He decided to go to Mrs Mole who would advise him perfectly, she was recognized by all the inhabitants of PICWOOL as the specialist of mushrooms.
